HIDDEN JEWELS OF THE PENINSULA
Fiona Bilbrough is an internationally recognized local artist living and working on the Peninsula is shown completing a painting of one of her favorite beaches. A winner of many awards, notably The Alice Bale scholarship funding eighteen months in Europe to study under master painters particularly in England and Spain . Fiona works directly from life, whether she is painting a figure, an objet d’art or landscape. Her oil paintings have intense drama and rich layered colors that hold viewers enthralled. Here she is pictured in her studio with a peninsula landscape titled Capel Sound Foreshore Rosebud in progress. One of many works by Fiona to be exhibited at Whitehill Gallery from 20th February. 59310146.
