MALCOLM BEATTIE EXHIBITION

Malcolm Beattie has been an iconic figure in the art world of Melbourne.  His water and oil paintings are characterized by a purity of colour and a sense of movement.  He has an eye for interesting detail and some surprising compositions.with this latest work.  Known for his vibrant everyday scenes Malcolm captures the moment with exquisite detail, his draftsmanship and and vivid colour command great visual interest.

Malcolm has won many prestigious awards including first prize at Camberwell Rotary, St Kevin’s Art Show, Sorrento Rotary, Victor Harbor ,Rotary, Brighton Bayside Art Show and his work is represented in corporate and private collection both in Australia and overseas.  He leads painting tours overseas, and as a regular contributor th the Australian Artist Magazine and International Artist Magazine, his interest in recording his culture and heritage is well known.
